Winner of Public Award 'Grand Prize of the Netherlands' the most widely known and esteemed award in the Dutch music industry
Jodymoon is a band from the Netherlands that shoots straight up like a rocket over the last few Months. They are successful as a duo as well as with their band. Jodymoon won last edition's Public Award of the ‘Grand prize of the Netherlands’. A few Months later singer Digna Janssen and guitarist Johan Smeets released their 2nd album 'Never gonna find it in another story'. The reviews are all laudatory. Descriptions such as beautiful, warm, awfully strong, timeless popsongs and 'the best export product we have at this moment', are often heard. Jodymoon played an impressive list of shows in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, and was support act for Joan Armatrading.

Jodymoon is één van de kometen aan de Nederlandse pophemel die de laatste maanden
recht omhoog schiet. Zowel als duo als als band maakt deze formatie furore. Jodymoon won de Publieksprijs van de laatste editie van de Grote Prijs van NL. Zangeres Digna Janssen en gitarist Johan Smeets presenteerden in maart hun nieuwe, tweede album
'Never gonna find it in another story'. Qua timing had die release niet beter kunnen uitkomen. De recensies zijn alom lovend. Termen als mooi, warm, vakmanschap en melancholische pop van het allerhoogste niveau of 'het vaker beluisteren waard', komen
regelmatig langs. Jodymoon werkte een indrukwekkende lijst optredens af door heel
Nederland. Daarbuiten waren ze ook regelmatig in Duitsland en België te bewonderen en deden o.a. de support voor Joan Armatrading.
