Jodymoon: Who are you now
Het Maastrichtse singer-songwriter duo Jodymoon grossiert in sterk persoonlijke songs met universele thema’s als liefde, dood, afscheid, ouder worden en groei. In New York werkten ze samen met producer Bryce Goggin (Antony and the Johnsons, Joan As Police Woman). Op hun nieuwste album ‘Who are you now’ speelt het het bekende strijkkwartet Matangi een belangrijke rol en ook live zorgen strijkers voor een bijzondere combinatie tussen singer/songwriter, pop, klassiek en een vleugje roots. Jodymoon are Digna Janssen and Johan Smeets from The Netherlands. This authentic singer-songwriter duo writes highly personal and autobiographical songs about love, death, parting, aging and growth.. In New York they collaborated with Bryce Goggin (Antony and the Johnsons, Joan As Police Woman). On their most recent album ‘Who are you now’ well-known string quartet Matangi plays an important role.
